Getting here
From Central Station to Cabins
Two easy routes, both with a free ferry.
Free ferry F3
- 5 min ferry
- 15 min walk
- Walk through Central Station to the back, on the IJ side (waterfront).
- Take the free F3 ferry to Buiksloterweg. It runs day and night, every few minutes. The crossing takes 5 minutes.
- Walk about 15 minutes along the IJ promenade, past the A’DAM Tower and the EYE, then follow the Grasweg.
- You’ll find Cabins at Grasweg 54.
Arriving late? The F3 also runs at night, so you can always get to Cabins.
Bus 48 + free ferry F6
- 13 min bus
- 270 m walk
- 5 min ferry
- 450 m walk
- At Central Station, take bus 48 towards Houthavens and get off at the Houtmankade stop (about 13 minutes). Check in with your bank card or phone.
- Walk 270 metres to the Pontsteiger ferry.
- Take the free F6 ferry to Distelweg. It runs every 15 minutes.
- Walk 450 metres along the Grasweg to number 54.
The F6 does not run at night. The last ferry leaves Pontsteiger at 23:07. Later than that? Take route 1.
